WOW! i haven't posted anything for 1 month and 2 days. I couldn't really find the time to post anything, school ends at 2.10pm, training starts, ends at 6.30pm, back home at 8pm, finish study at 10.30 - 11.30pm. I'm a pretty busy man.

well, season started not long ago, played 3 games and won all of them, praise God for every victory made!

It's Chinese New Year, what a celebration! unfortunately for me, i dislike going to places like China Town and places where it is all red and crowded... it makes me go "red in frustration".

It's a period of break for me, to kind of relax but soon, i need to get focused again. i gonna have my family reunion dinner at my maternal grandma's house. God bless our conversations and reunion time tonight.

Tmr, my family might be going to watch red cliff 2, its gonna be an exciting day and also a day to bond with each other and deepen our relationship.

Ooops.. this blog has been dead for so long, But if you have noticed, i have been posting at the other blog. For now, i'm gonna post about my awesome church camp at malaysia, Jb, Good hope hotel.

This year's camp was just plain... Good. Before the camp, my holidays was full of balling, having games, and trainings... kind of boring. i mean not that balling is not fun and competitive, but to me, God is more important, So i just signed up for the camp. Later, it was sad to find out that one of the 'milo cup' matches was against Siglap(anglican high), a tough team, when i was suppose to be at camp. I decided to go for camp to renew my relationship with God and also because I have already paid the money.

Every service we had in the camp was about 3-4 hours long, however, the worship was awesome. It felt so Good to be touched by God again and just praising Him and worship Him for who He is. The sermons by our youth pastor, and brothers and sisters in christ about the camp tag line, "search serve soar", also spoke to me a lot, to change myself.

"Search for God whole heartedly... serve God in places He has called you to... watch Him carry you under His wings to soar to greater heights", pastors foreword.

The games were also about surging for God. Innovative games came out by our adult leaders which has objectives for us to experience how life is going to be, the difficult times and struggles, the test of faith and of coure,how to search, serve, soar for God.

After the camp, i felt that my passion for God has increased greatly. Although we received the news that Dos(my team) lost to siglap, i was kind of sad, but i still want to thank God for what He has done in me through the camp and i do not regret going for this camp. so after beating hwa chong intitution, tagawa, another tough game, and tongwhye(today), we arrived 2nd placing in the milo cup tournament.

Still awake since yesterday morning (excluding 1/2 or 1 hr of sleep). still filled with energy. man, i have to say this class chalet outing is one of the best outing this year. especially the 'Own-planned-haunted-house' didn't organizers of this event to be brainstormed with so many ideas. serene was crazy. the ghostly lady. But i made her laugh during the haunted house experience. i can't believe we actually spent the whole night on the beach.

God of miracles

It's been quite long since i blogged, but i felt that the recent EOY examination was horrible. majority of my subjects were not very good especially math, embarrassed to say i didn't do graphs which immediately "killed" my 20 marks, ending up with 50. my science, my favourite and top subject was just 68. i was so disappointed. surprisingly, literature, the subject which i usually get just pass or fail, now is my subject which i scored the highest, 71.

i thought this was it man. In my mind i was like "There goes my level ranking, there goes my triple science". After hearing a testament from one of my church leaders, my faith increased. i was greatly inspired by what she said, "The doors that God has opened for you, no man can close", (which can be found in rev 3:8) and she also told her story about getting into SMU despite being rejected. i began to trust in the Lord and prayed to him. Finally, i got back my overall results today and was amazed that my level position was 70.

It was probably because of my last semester's science results and my art, DNT and home ec which pulled me up. although it is just 70, and not the top 40, i will continue to trust in Him to help me get into triple science.

To all who think their grades are lousy, go for God.

The gate was finally open... i feel the sense of freedom, but somehow i keep forgetting that. maybe im not used to it yet. Thank God for helping me in all my examinations although i felt i did very badly for math today. But who knows? He's a God of miracles. Alright man! no time for slacking. exams and study are temporary not in my list of burdens and i shall train hard in my physic and basketball. gonna strengthen my leg and gonna be better then what i was before. The previous silver thing in my hand was is a memory of my failures but also, success. Im gonna change this failures into success and God will help me in all these.

OOOHHH!!!! thank God for healing my fractured ankle. although there is stil a little little bit a crack left to recover, my cast is finally removed. the sad thing is my leg had shrunk like crazy the picture is on top. THck layer of dead skin on it. had some difficulty removing it.

well done to all united(unitian)basketball players. Praise God for helping us get into the national final which is still making a symbolic history after 5 years not getting into the national finals. The sad thing to was not that i fractured my leg but because i couldn't help. Just sitting there watching my team lose especially the part when there was the most turn overs, not to blame anybody or myself, but i kind of felt demoralised.

I don't believe this is fate because Christians don't believe in fate. If second place is what God wants us to have i don't blame Him for that because I believe that everything he does have a good purpose and he has our best in mind. Maybe it is our learning point like what Mrs chew said.

what is past is past and we cannot change the fact that we lost. But our basketball career still has a long way. this year we did not get but next year, we will strive our best. i couldn't help this year, but i will...

i wanna thank God for helping our team to get the west zone championship which was this afternoon. for those who missed it, too bad. although we didn't play very well today, i still wanna thank Him for giving us this opprtunity to get the championship. This is my first time getting a championship and the first time playing a final(excluding t-net and admarity). Time flew so fast. A moment ago i stood there watching my bro getting a medal and now, i got a medal together with him. Now, waiting for the next game which is the starting of the national rounds. God bless my team.

During the past week, Joshua, a church friend of mine suddenly got suspected of dengue fever. i was shocked when my cell leader told me that, but i wanna thank God for healing him completely. He was discharged yesterday this afternoon. our whole cell prayed for him and thank God again that he was healed. when he was first suspected of it, he was sent to the icu. SCARY. yeah, so thank God for the miracle.

sry, i Haven't been posting anything on this blog for about 1 AND A HALF MONTHS! man, i just realised. but have been posting at the other blog about the trainings and games. but for now, i just want to thank God for helping our team to get championships and thank God for helping us get a few, once unexpected score of at least 90 points to below 20 points (opponent) so far. This year our team have a very high Goal of getting the championship title which unity had 5 years ago. Training real hard, and doing my best to cope with studies, but God will help me.

i think mine is more to the right.
but i want to thank God for what he has done.
although my grades are not really what i expected,

i passed my chinese. my paper was initially 38 and my overall
pushed me to 48 and somehow the school manage to pass me.
and although my literature is like 39? i still want to thank God for helping me.

we should not be depressed if you feel that you scored very lousy, but be positive
and change the mistakes you've made and rise up again. " failure is the mother of success"
this phrase is pretty old but it is so true. If you fail, you can make amends for it.

Exams are drawing closer by the day, and unitians and people from other schools are left with 3 days. this is scary. but God overcomes. through the times of difficulties(discouraged by previous results, peer pressure, addiction to computer games) which prevents you from concentrating in your studies and at the same time, focusing on God, He helps you overcome.

especially during this period of time, when most people tend to focus too much on studies, they forget God. God should not be forgotten. after all, He is God and nothing is to big for Him to overcome.

so i just wanna say that if you ask, it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock on the door and it shall be open to you. whatever problems you are facing now, ask God to help you.

today is the day i re-borned my hair. i went to my usaual salon and had one of the salonist to cut for me. i think this hair is worth cutting and it benifits me in a few ways. first, i can save time, i do not have to spend time waxing my hair... next, i don't need to worry my hair being messed up by some ppl. my hair will be able to be dried extremely fast.

this is like going to be the hottest trend in unity level 2. so many guys had already shaved their heads and there are more to come. it was just one person(my bro) which made so many ppl want to cut. as his beloved twin brother, i want to look even more alike and so went to cut today.

but why in the first place did my bro do this? he felt that his hair was very thick and didn't like the way it is, so he went to the toilet to cut. i warned him not to cut, but stubborn peter neglected my words. sigh... to mae things short, he made holes on his head(side). it was horrible. after much disscusion with me, he decided to shave his head. it was late at night and so he asked my mother to cut for him. we did not have a shaver to she used a pair of scissors. the hair style was unimaginable but still he had to bear with it for one day. the next day, he went to have a proper shave after church service. btw, it was super embarrassing in church. and that was why he shaved his head...

In the Bible, it says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. so no matter how ugly you are, you are always beautiful in the eyes of God. your hairstyle does not tell you who you are, your basketball skills does not tell you who u are, your volleyball skills does not tell you who u are, your study grades does not tell you who you are, but it is how much God values you.

this i my first time cutting it so i am apparantly having some funny feeling like when the wind blows, my hair seems as if there is static... and oh yes... one more thing, please don't laugh at me...

Man! i just can't wait for friday. its gonna be fun! having a buzz (cell) outing. going to sentosa, maybe to play beach volleyball or beach soccer... well hope God holds the clouds so that back up plans are not needed. just incase it rains, we have planned to go to vivo to watch movie!!! must make sure we choose the best one. hope this outing will help us to build stronger bonds with each other.

special event- HUNGRY

special event- HUNGRY, was today. it was like an 'Amazing Race'. Groups went to stations around payalebar, played some games like singing a song with water full in your mouth and let your teammates guess it. 'Amazing Race' wasn't all, after we came back to church, we gathered the ingredients that we had bought along the way and made a sandwich. basically, there was a sandwich making competition. a few selected teams whose sandwich was interesting, were judged by the judges- according to their taste and story of their sandwich; for example, the town was sinful and chaotic, and the bread represented Jesus. He came down and died on the cross for their sins and they were forgiven.( my group's sandwich story).

after that, sis Gwen preached a little bit about hungry. Matt 12: 22- 30. it says not to worry about our life, what we eat; or worry about what you wear. life is more than food and the body is more then clothing. like the birds, they do not reap what they sow, but God feeds them. God also clothe the grass. You are more valued than the birds and the grass. if God feeds the birds and clothe the grass, he will also feed and clothe you. He is God the provider. ( to know more, read the verses stated above)

a pastor from America, miami, preached to Ignyte( youth ministry). the preaching was powerful. Many people do not know who they are. To know yourself, you have to first know Christ. If you do not know your purpose, you will be abused. just like a basketball, if you do not know its purpose, you might kick it and use it to play soccer.

You are not what others call you( fat pig, stupid, useless, etc.), what your parents call you, what your friends call you, what your enemies call you. listen not to them but to Jesus because you are what he called you. Do not be overwhelmed by the things people call you, thats a lie from the devil.

'Buzz'(cell) outing

special event today was 'Found'. showed the making of (un)found. desmond and chaysen came today. After service, went to potong pasir macdonalds for lunch, then went to the cc opp macs to play basketball. had quite a lot of fun down there.

first, we played with one team. we were just playing a very friendly game and our opponent played so seriously. but still had fun. next, we played with another team, not very good. there was one time one of their teammates wanted to shoot the ball, then i jumped and whacked the ball real hard( after ball was released). i saw his face and he was very innocent. i didn't expected that. after the match our buzz group played among ourselves while desmond and chaysen left first. then went home.

The week after next, we having special event, 'hungry'. it is something like amazing race. hope there will be many FTVs( first time visitors).

wow! time flies pretty fast. its already 21 of feb and time for me to post... well it is anounced that Singapore is chosen to host the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. i am also very excited about it. finally i can go and watch olympic live. Thank God for that.

last minute teacher said we have 'IT' lesson, today. i was suppose to have tuition but seems like its a rest day. i told my granny about it and she decided to cancel both my bro's and my tuition. how fortunate we were.

after the 'IT' lesson, took the MRT with ben, nicol, and bro to cck. on the way nicol decided to come to our house. we took bus 67 and went home, while ben continued his journey home(also upp bukit timah). my bro, nicol and i walked up to my house happily thinking that we could play ball later.

when th lift opened, the 'good' thing was that i saw my father. we looked at nicol and he knew what to do. he went back to the lift and went down. he wasted his time and had to 'U' turn back home. fortunately, there was bus 173 bus stop infront of my condo and so he went home. Man, i felt guilty when i saw his eyes. lol. feel sry for nicol.

Its time for Trinity's Ignyte valentines special event. Gaddiel, boon zac, desmond, and chaysen were invited. i have to say that the event was very successful, thank God for that. the event was rather big, about 72 people were involved. its was a musical. when pastor(ps. Derick) called out for alter call to receive God's love, all of us responded to it and the pastor led us in the sinner's prayer. i asked zac whether he felt something in his heart and he said that he felt a spiritual warmth in his heart and this proves that God is real. to know more about God or this event go to http://www.trinity.net/ignyte/pl/blog.htm .

yesterday after visiting, went to cathay to buy movie- ah long tickets. drove past this church, the poster caught my eye. it says " Know God, Know Love, no God, no Love" so i decided to post it in my blog. hope this phrase will speak to some of you. :)

so at 12.40am, we went to watch ah long. its very nice and hilarious u people got to watch it man. It tells us that whatever u do has consequences, tells us not to borrow money from loan sharks.

i went to church, church was great cause church is always great. after chuch, BIG sis, bro, me, father, granny went marina sqaure to have lunch. after lunch... went to see somethings, but bought nothing. later, met up with twin sisters, 5 of us went to ps( plaza sing) to shop. from 4 to 8.30, see all the shops and still bought nothing. in the end, went back home with nothing new.

hm... todays training, no good, noot good. its was not very intense. training started at 4 because there was some concert rehearsal, damn! so when we were having training, we could only use half the court. at 5.30, the rehearsal finally ended. we set up the other rimp and started playing match. but with the sec ones, the training was damn slack and boring, sigh... but thank God we still could have trining today.

hello people, today is Fathers Day! you might be wondering why is it Parent's day. it is basicly because my church celebrates both parents and Father's Day. I would like to share a verse. Eph 6: 1-3 Children, obey your parents in the lord, for this is right. "honor your father and mother", which is the first comandment with promise: "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."

Today somethin great happened. shao lun was sick and running a high fever yesterday and the day before. however, i prayed for him and God healed him... today, when he called me, he told me that he had no more fever. thank God for the healing.

Healing of friend.

Knowing that Jeffrey, a friend of mine, was sick plus he has a sore eye, i pursuaded him to come to church today for healing as well as attending a special event, Timeless, but his mother did not allow him. yesterday, he told me that he was planning to see the doctor today. I continued to thank God for the healing of his sore eyes, and probably his slight fever. Eventually, God healed him. Today, when i called him in the afternoon, i asked him whether he had gone to see the doctor. he replied no as he said that his sickness has been healed. I believe that it was God who healed his sickness. praise God.

yesterday was maundy thursday, i went to serivice that day. miracles happened. i saw it with my own eyes... many people were healed( people with lumbs on chest, people who needs to use clutches to walk etc.)immediately. all glory to to God!
